We are inviting members of the community and visitors to contribute hand-sized knitted, crocheted or felted sheep for our December Advent and Christmas activities across the parish.
Whether you enjoy crafting at home or would like to make one or two sheep to join our parish flock for December, we would love to hear from you.

The four churches of Tideswell Parish will be open for prayer and quiet reflection, with short prayers offered at intervals throughout the day.
A welcoming service to remember loved ones, light candles and share a time of quiet reflection, followed by tea and cakes in church.
An informal social evening with board games, tea and coffee. Bring your own drinks if preferred, and snacks or favourite games to share.
Suggested donation: £2. All are warmly welcome.
An informal and relaxed opportunity over refreshments to talk openly about life, death, society and the things that matter most.

Celebrate the Christmas season with traditional carols and readings by candlelight in the Cathedral of the Peak.
Singing with the choir: Anyone in the community interested in singing with a choir for the occasion is warmly invited to get in touch with Revd Fiona Kouble.

An inclusive community Christmas lunch open to anyone who would like to spend Christmas Day together in warm company. You are welcome to attend as a guest or offer a hand with food preparation, cooking and washing up.
A suggested donation of £5 is appreciated, but nobody is excluded because of cost. Places are limited — please email Revd Fiona in advance to reserve a place and let us know of any dietary requirements.
